As bad as October was for the Seahawks, we were only a play or two from turning the two losses we had into wins.

The Hawks however have not yet returned to form. Last weeks defensive effort was a nice shot in the arm, and getting playing time for our rookies and 2nd year players that didn't play much before should benefit our depth overall in the next few weeks as the schedule gets rough.

A lot of divisional games approach and November is the month that should define the Seahawks in their quest to make it into the playoffs. 2 home games vs. Oakland and NY should hopefully point us in the right direction before trudging off to KC, and then the big Thanksgiving Day game vs SF.

As well as Arizona at home sandwiched between KC and SF. We could go into SF on a 5 game win streak if we manage a win in KC and take care of things at home.

Wildest dream - win all five where Hawk fans give up whipped cream topping on pumpkin pie in exchange for win at 49ers to close out November.

Realistic scencerio - any loss at home would slice margin of error to razor thin or eliminate any realistic December playoff run. Nov 23 at home against team flying under most peoples radar, the Cardinals is game that could be the season. Win 4 out of 5 and Hawks are in good shape for December playoff stretch run.

December - win 4 out of 5 in November you have margin or error at Philly, but have to beat 49ers at CLINK the next week and by week 16 at Cardinals could be for NFC West title.

On other hand maybe we should just look forward to next CHAMPIONSHIP OPPORTUNITY.

It seems to me we have to win ALL the home games, period.
