Dickson is the guy moving forward. Like every member of the Super Bowl winning squad, Jon will always hold a special place in my heart. I'm forever grateful to that team for giving me one of the most special days in my life. The best tweeter in Seahawks history, and some of the most memorable plays in our history as well. I hope he continues to crush it as he enters the twilight of his football career.

Perhaps they can trade him. I do hope they do right by him and make his departure in such a way that he can catch on with another team.

I’m very grateful for everything Jon contributed to the team over the last decade. But the only way he makes this roster is if Dickson suffers a serious injury before the cutdown.

They did.. But I think they would be front runners to land him in FA, at a lower cap hit, and without losing a draft pick, though. And I think Buffalo may realize this, too.

At this point, Jon is only still here so Dickson thinks there ia still some competition and the job isn't simply handed to him.

Jon Ryan has been great, both from a productivity and entertainment standpoint. Will suck to see him go, but it's always good to get better players.

Unless a team trades a late rounder for him, which isn't likely. But he's still pretty good. But it's time to set him free to catch on with another team. Total class guy, especially the way he's handling this.

Maybe the office is giving him an opportunity to show other teams that he still can be a weapon in this league?

For sure, I don't doubt he'll land somewhere. Still a solid Punter w/plenty left in the tank.
