Underwhelming production thus far, $9m in cap savings next season, but letting him go would leave us with Luke Willson as the only TE under contract.
Maybe he'd restructure at a lower hit with more guarantees but I'm betting he'd get more elsewhere. Of course, a lot may also depend on whether Bevell's here next season and/or whether we're willing to make him a focal point of the offense instead of implementing him in an existing system with traditionally low production from the TE spot where we have him block on crucial third down passing plays.
I'd like to see the Hawks' pursue a FA like Dwayne Allen in 2016 but I'm guessing the Colts try and lock him up. He's a decent blocker and a redzone threat. Trouble is, unless Graham's production rockets from here on out, Seattle's going to have to overpay for TE talent, or look to the draft; which seems more likely.
