I remember when Dwayne Harper and Patrick Hunter broke into the league and were forced to handle things with no experience. They used to get beat and draw PI penalties frequently, which used to piss me off, but they were stopping the big play and it worked. Later they both became stud corners.

The other 2 included Darren Comeaux. He was a great tackler but played with some exceptional LBers, which overshadowed him.

My last was James McKnight, who made some big plays in the Erickson years.

Dude was a badass returner, not surprised he got voted to the Seahawks 35th team.

If I "second" Dereck Fenner does that mean he has not been forgotten after all?

Marquand Manuel. Never spectacular, but always solid. I was loathe to lose him after the 2005 season.

I still believe that his injury was the biggest factor in the Super Bowl. Even more so then the officiating.

Rick Tuten.

No one ever talks about him. Is this what John Ryan's future has in store?

That's mine too!

Rootin' Tuten, punter extraordinare.

After him, Jim Jodat.

Who dat? Jodat!

In terms of the best players who seem to be remembered the least, I'd say:

D-Jack
Ricky Watters
Sam Adams
Michael Sinclair
Eugene Robinson
Most of the '92 defense other than 'Tez
Warren Moon
That 1980's defensive backfield that had a silly number of interceptions
Chris Warren

Some others:

Anthony Simmons (it's weird to have so much talent for football yet care so little for it)
Derrick Fenner (not the best human being, but a pretty good RB)
Itula Mili
Brandon Stokely
Josh Wilson
Nate Burleson
Raheem Brock
Josh Brown
Olindo Mare
Lofa Tatupu (at least it feels like Tatupu is a forgotten man)
