Russ had a terrific game yesterday despite stretches of abysmal play calling by the OC. This thread is almost as aweful as the final play call. Brady and Manning, widely regarded as the best quarterbacks to ever play lost in the superbowl plenty. Its a team sport and that includes all the players, coaches as staff. Wilson showed incredible leadership throughout these playoffs. Future HOFer and youre talking about letting him go for a guy that cant even win a big game at the collegiate level.

We can't give RW 20 million. Trade Wilson to tampa for Mariotta and get a solid coordinator (would have loved trestman). Watching that game it was painfully obvious RW can't locate open receivers in the short to medium range.

???? Someone talk this guy off the ledge. We will be a SB contender for the next decade because of RW. Read through some of the threads on him here, and see what a difference he makes for us.

How about we trade you for a real fan? RW led us to the SB, without him, I doubt we make it this far. Mariota...uh no thanks. Unproven and not so durable.
Wrong pal. RW did NOT lead you to ANY SBs. Just because he's the QB, doesn't mean he's the true leader. Lynch is who led you to SBs plain and simple. If you take him out the equation? The seahawks are average. A stout D and a monster RB is the bread and butter of that team. The QB can be avg. Most QBs in that system will be pretty successful because its not a pass first offense. The OC made a bone headed move; albeit by someone above him, to make RW the star of the game rather than Lynch. That turned the Seahawks from a "team effort" to choosing to put RW as the successor (or solely in the hands of someone else besides is actual successor) when it was Lynch ALL along.

Say what you will, but if you're honest with yourself, BEASTMODE is the reason OFFENSIVELY for the success of the Seahawks.

You know, it's possible there is more than one reason the Hawks offense is effective and why they made the SB.

They don't get there without Lynch. They don't get there without Wilson too. Both those theories can be true and can coexist.

I really believe we will return to the post season next year. With San Fran in shambles, rams well they are always at best right under .500 with fish. Arizona I still think we are a better overall team then them. With Mebane and Richardson and company returning people getting healthy the dline will be fine next year. And most of all a SB loss chip on their shoulders next year? Give RW his money maxwell next, continue to develop Matthews, this kids has the tools. Can't wait for the draft

2011 says hi... And as much as I love Marshawn, we're a #1 rushing offense with great contributions to RW yet it seems no one wants to give him his due. 800+ yards as a QB.

RW made some big time throws to keep us in that game yesterday. Marriota folded in the College championship. so no thanks.

yeah he was terrible tonight.
11.8 YPA 3 rushes 39 yards, 90.8 total QBR
the final play was a bad throw and a great play by the defender, however I put it on the playcall more than I do wilson (even though he deserves a fair amount of blame for it as well)
of all games to post this why today?
I'm going to assume this is a serious post...is it?
It wasn't a bad throw it was just a stellar play by the defender. Now it wasn't even the correct pass play to call but that is a whole other discussion.

This is the opposite of real talk.

Let's start the whole rookie process over again, except this time with an unproven college QB that we have no idea if he's good or not, when we already have a top 10 QB in his prime.

I'm all for some kneejerk reaction to yesterday, but holy smokes man. This is brutal.

Real talk?

The guy is a winner, he won a Super Bowl, made it to the 1 yard line in a second and has consistently averaged a 12-4 record with his worst year being a playoff winning year where he put the team ahead with 30 seconds to go his rookie season.

3 years 42-14 overall record with no big threat at WR. He has made fools out of pass rushers and never breaks down.

Trade THAT? Troll.

Honestly the team just needs a better O-line, and some damn weapons at WR.
