6.5 + favorites in Vegas, people are betting heavy on the Hawks

I hope the Hawks fly out there early and get costumed to the weather . it is going to be very cold.
You're not going to be able to do that in 2 days. Just stick to the normal routine. Pete coached under Bud Grant, so he knows all the tricks when it comes to the cold.

That is true Bud Grant also Coached In Canada for years In Winnipeg.

I am thinking if Marshawn is playing that his beanie will actually be functional rather than a fashion statement! :D

The forecast will probably change a couple more times before game time. This weather will make us see who wants this game more.

This is kind of insane...

They're predicting this to be the coldest game in NFL history.

In. History.

It's going to suck for both teams.

I'm guessing in the age we live in, and the equipment that is available to the players, the cold can somewhat be neutralized? But when it's that damn cold, how can it?

Almost seems unsafe... I know it's not. But the weather they're calling for is insane.

Just get the W and get the hell out of there, Hawks.

As far as the quarterbacks go, I think Russ will thrive in the cold temps much better than Bridgewater, who is from Miami. Also, it's been fairly mild temp wise up here in the north, so it's not like the Vikings are fully acclimated to it. So neither team will have an advantage with the elements in my book. I

Nonsense. You acclimate to where you currently live. This whole teams is acclimated to the PNW. If the cold front arrives with the game, 1degF is friggin COLD, dry heat or not.

I was thinking about the last cold playoff game - vs the Bears in Chicago where the field froze and Carlson got a concussion testing the grass with his head.

It was 24 degrees that day.
