You and me both. This may explain what I regard to be a strange line. I am sure the sharpies know who the officiating crew is long before the rest of us do. If it is Carey, that might explain it.

The only way this is worse is if the third potential ref assignment is Ron Winter.

Between Winter, Carey, and Leavy and their crews, they might actually pick up the ball and advance it for the 49ers outright instead of just doing it through penalty flags.
