Also, I might have been the only one in his fanclub, but I thought having Jerry Rice on the 2004 Seahawks was bad ass. I could care less about the jersey number thing.

I actually saw Rice's first game as a Seahawk in person when they played the Cardinals. I remember that season our WR's dropped damn near everything that hit them in the hands.

First throw to Jerry Rice?

Drop.

Matt Hasselbeck had this look on his face that you couldn't describe fully in words.

Also, I remember listening to the radio as Daryl Turner caught a TD from Kreig on the first play from scrimmage. He was a nice deep threat.

If Im not mistaken that was in Mile High- a place that cause many nightmares for us.

...In the weeks prior to the 1977 draft, Tony Dorsett’s agent let the Seattle Seahawks know that Dorsett had no interest in playing in Seattle...
So what you're saying is that the original sniveling John Elway was Dorsett. Interesting... did not know that.

I think this is the type of thread that turns off posters. Who is this OP with only 48 posts to try to classify who is a fan, or not.

I"m not stupid enough to play.

How bout this guy who was too tall to fail? Like a bizarro RW.

I use him as a teaching tool about the dangers of football card collecting...

He needed to roid up like his cousin Mark M did.

It's funny how the younger Hawks fans get butt hurt over a thread like this. I don't care how long someone's been a fan but find it interesting who they choose. Not rubbing anyone's nose in their choice but you can tell from that choice how long they have been following the team. There is plenty of room on the bus, and all are welcome. Some of us old farts have been around long enough to remember the expansions teams first game. Shame on us, not the younger crowd. Enjoy this success, it will not last forever. I just hope the Hawks do what we long time fans expect them to do, multiple times. I for one would love to see a generation of Hawk fans come in to their fandom prime expecting to win every game. This current team is that good.

Carryon.
