With new kickoff rules coming to the NFL, the Seahawks signed Laviska Shenault Jr. to add some depth to special teams and receiver.

He was the 10th pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft, the 9th WR taken that year. He was drafted by the Jaguars, and traded to the Panthers in 2022.

One year, veteran minimum, so very low risk. I think that it was smart to get a replacement for DJ Dallas since we can't rely on Dee Eskridge to be healthy and effective as the only kick returner.
