Luck isn't all you need to win ball games, eh? Congratulations, Matt Hasselbeck! Obviously it remains Andrew Luck's team but it is great see a good ol' Seahawk doing well ;)

How did he not toss picks? I mean luck has to force everything with that very same offense. . It's a mystery.

It's unlikely to happen since the Pats will probably put up 70 points on the Colts next week, but I would love it if Hass starts again to take them down.

No controversy but maybe Luck is going to take a longer while to heal up then some expected wink wink nod nod. Matt has the teams confidence right now and maybe it's good for Luck to watch a master tactician work some magic and learn that physical gifts are nice, but brain over brawn works better. Luck has to combine the two to be what he was touted out of college.

Remarkable performance by Hasselbeck. :th2thumbs:

Not only is Hasselbeck 40, he also spent the short week dealing with a bacterial infection, which hospitalized him for a night and caused half his week to be spent on a toilet. He took IVs just to function.
Every game, all season

"Lots of stuff coming out of the attic, then a lot of stuff coming out the basement," was how Hasselbeck described it, via the Indy Star's Zak Keefer.

If Hass starts and delivers a good win against the Patriots... do you take him out for Luck?

That's a good question. Isn't Pagano's job already on the line?

It would be hard to not stay with what is working but at the same time would he be chastized for benching Luck?

Geeze, now that you think about it what if he starts Luck and he sucks again?

Matt is making things difficult in Indy and potentially exposing Luck as a media fraud.

Tune in next week as we ask the question "is Luck the real problem and not Pagano?" as the world turns on Luck.

Luck just watched how his offense can be run almost to perfection. If he learns to run an offense like that, he will be great. Having to sit and watch what Hass did may actually be the best learning experience Luck has ever had.

No controversy. You start Luck once he is healthy. Dude is looking to get a new contract as your franchise QB. Unless you are suicidal, you are not sacrificing your long -term solution for a game but aged short-term solution.

Matt is surviving on his smarts but you know he eventually is going to physically falter. Luck will benefit from this time on the sideline if the OC provides him a similar set of packages they did for Matt.

We will see how the Colts choose to go with Luck. The other thing is if Pagano is gone after this season, there will be another OC/coaching staff next year. That could benefit Luck long-term.

I firmly believe that the way the Offense plays with Luck at QB, whether it's Luck's fault or the play callings fault, puts the defense in a poor position. All we hear about is how Luck's supporting cast is holding him back. Looks the opposite to me at this point.
