This upcoming preseason game is the most important preseason game because it serves as the season tune-up for the starters.
What makes this matchup extra interesting is that Seattle's opponent just happens to be Dallas, the team that is running away with the preseason lead in scoring (65 points scored over two games). Seattle has scored just 28 points, including 0 from the starters.
The Cowboys are hopeful that Ezekiel Elliot may very well make his NFL debut in this game. If he does, it will be a huge test for Seattle's run defense. Romo and Dez will naturally test our pass D as well.
Later in the game, our backup D will have to contend with Dak Prescott, who's been the best QB of the preseason so far. They'll also have to cover former Richard Sherman project hopeful Brice Butler, who's having a great preseason so far as a deep threat.
Hopefully Seattle's offense can get going this week. As far as preseason games go this one has a chance to be pretty entertaining.
