they probably didn't think he was worth much more if/any than what DB and Kearse provided. Or they felt having Tate was a little redundant now with Harvin. Or more likely, they felt confident with looking towards the draft

I've never willingly watched a Lions or Jaguars game if the Hawks weren't involved, but next season might be different.
