For those that didn't know Noah Fant was a 1st round #20 pick in 2019. He has progressively gotten better the last 3 years and is a pretty huge addition to our offensive weaponrey at a fairly low cost over the next two year. Our QB is still a question mark, but now we have DK, Lockett, and Fant which is a really great group. Fant could be even better if we end up brining in a young QB or one who can actually take advantage of the middle of the field and like throwing to the TE.

Born Nov 1997 (24 YO)
Played for Iowa
6'4 250lb
4.5 - 40 yd dash
39.5 Vertical

Carr or Cousins would like him
Menshew would love this trio as well
How about a rookie like Ridder, Willis, or Corral.

This player has been largely unrecognized as a significant addition to the team from this trade.

The DT- Harris has had 12 sacks in the past two seasons and is a beast in getting after the QB. he may just be that 3 tech that PC has been looking to acquire.

For me the only two QBs in this draft that hold interest to me are Willis and Ridder and Ridder might be abe to be had in the 2nd round. I think the Panthers will take Coral at pick #6 and I'd love to convert the value from pick #9 into a an exceptional talent at OT or CB and possibly another 2nd round pick or better. At pick #9 there will undoubtedly be many options.

Creating holes against stacked boxes doesn’t require you to catch. Besides, there’s no one to throw to him. :p

Fant is absolute trash, TE3 material at best. I would find it hard to believe the Broncos are devastated with his departure at this juncture. We fleeced them with Wilson so I guess it’s an eye for an eye (half kidding)

Back to the subject at hand. I think we can all agree Noah Fant's production has been far from stellar thus far, particularly for a first-round pick. Ten touchdowns in the past three seasons isn't lighting the world on fire. Fant has gone on record complaining how he was "mis-used" in Denver in that he views himself as a downfield threat that gets open in space (but claims he was stuck catching flat balls in Denver and then asked to be the shifty/elusive guy that breaks tackles and get extra yards). I'm just not seeing the downfield threat in the guy. He looks slow. Dissley and Parkinson look much better.

Fant gets the safeties and corners for coverage while the other TE's benefit by getting the linebackers making their completions easier. It is so nice to finally have an OC and QB on the same page in taking advantage of it.

If Fant was truly an explosive down-field threat than it shouldn't matter who is covering him. I rest my case.
