What would you draft NEXT year?
I'm going RB....LB.....OT in no particular order.
You?

I would have said this LAST year, but the current OL is doing good and getting better.

Other than Ifedi and Britt we need upgrades. "Better" is a relative term we're using cause the line's been below average. It's still one of the poorer lines in the league.
IMO we need another top LT and continue to draft depth all along the line. I never want to see a washed up Webb type of lineman starting because we have no other options.

Sowell had a good game Sunday. Re-watch the game and focus on OL like I did. I was impressed by everyone on that line, and I'm not easy to impress regarding OL.
Sgt. Largent":ibz2wxku said:Our QB has two serious injuries because this line is not that good, especially at the tackle position. Sowell is doing well for Sowell..........that doesn't mean we shouldn't be upgrading the position if we can get a stud RT, and LT.
It's by FAR the biggest area of need of all the position groups..............again.
+1. It's nice that, given the starters and depth, there really is no one glaring immediate need besides (depending the projected potential of Fant) at LT.McGruff":11hvpc1l said:Bottom line is, aside from LT, this is a draft where we can look at BPA and projecting future needs. The last few years we haven't had that luxury. This year we do. Only one starter is not under contract, and he's easily replacable (Sowell).
Yeah I agree, LB, RB, a D end if good value is available. Rob and a few others don't like the tackle class this year so it might be hard to get a quality LT.The_Z_Man":1pn6ga1j said:Not sure if anyone noticed, but we are paper thin when it comes to LB depth...
If KJ or Bobby go down, we are in a world of hurt.
