I know it is too early to tell but what I find interesting now as opposed to two to three years ago is the team depth. Not only I am looking at this as an asset for game day and injury mitigation with next man up but also about future trades. It appears we have depth at DB, and possibly receiver if Eskridge can turn the corner. Because of this next offseason we could possibly have some chips to trade with to fill in more important positions of need. This has been missing the past few years and its impact can’t be understated imho. Plus if we hit on next years draft we are really set up for long term.

The Hawks definitely made hay while the sun has been shining, referring to the last two drafts... while the Whiners and the Lambs traded away their top picks to make a run for a Lombardi. The future looks bright for our team to regain control of the NFCW. It might take another year or two, but it will happen.
