Just because sound was registered louder at a mic in the stands doesn't mean it was louder down on the field where it actually matters (unless all they care about is the record.) Loud is loud, and if it's distracting enough to make communication difficult for the visiting team, attaching a number to it is redundant.
How in the world is the Clink not the loudest stadium?
