It was a perfect storm of star alignment. Adams goes down rookies come in and play and develop. Penny goes down K9 becomes a star. The tackles are rock solid. Geno is off the charts! Our offensive coordinator is best in business. The defense flipping from bad to good?! All the cap$$ we can’t spend! All that and we’re awesome. Rock solid. Not like any year but 2005 and 2013-2013! With the youth power it’s more like 2013. You can smell it.

Heck, I picked them to win maybe 2 games and I was fine with that. I was thinking tank bowl with some fun watching guys develop with a QB in 2023 and huge improvement. I must admit, I am really liking the draft of 2022 and Cross/Lucas have made it far more accommodating in pass-pro along with the running game. At this point when I see defensive players celebrating a stop of K9 early in the game I say to myself "well that isn't going to age well, let's see how happy that guy is in the 4th quarter"
