Again, let's see him doing it against very good defenses. That's not much to ask or to at least be ready to see if he can do it or not.
He's had a hell of a season so far.

I just looked at the replay. The ball was lined up on the right hash mark, meaning that the right tackle was a good 3-4 yards to the right of the right hash, about where Geno threw the ball from. He was not outside the tackle box. It was a good call.Look at that intentional grounding a few more times you will see it was a bogus call.
After he spins around he got out past the hash marks (out of the pocket) before he threw the ball and the ball got past the line of scrimmage big time.
Another shit call when the refs huddle and discuss what call they can make up to hurt a particular team on any given Sunday.
He specifically said during his post game presser that he can play a lot better. There's areas here can continue to grow in. That pocket presence and feel is something he'll develop and get better at with more reps. That's likely a byproduct of not starting for years.Yep, he could have threw that thing away WAY earlier. As much worship and praise as he is getting, believe it or not, he actually DOES make mistakes too.
Like most QB's do.
I respectfully disagree with out statement of "Like most QBs do", I would insist that "Like ALL QBs do". Montana did, Brandy did and still do, they all make mistakes. Montana even talk about how to handle those moments, in his words, how to compartmentalize.Yep, he could have threw that thing away WAY earlier. As much worship and praise as he is getting, believe it or not, he actually DOES make mistakes too.
