We need nose tackles, we only have an injured Mone before the draft, and one late round rookie after the draft. I think Clark was making a mistake by not knocking on our doors for a spot at UDFA. What do you guys think? Of course, it's also possible that John picked Robert Cooper over Clark? Instead, he signed as a UDFA with the Chargers.

I mean, maybe Pete will snipe him if he gets cut, but I think Cooper is the target they were wanting in that position.

I'm sure we wanted Clark, but he ended up with most of the Chargers UDFA guaranteed pool ($105k). We had way too many UDFA to pursue this year to give so much of it to one guy.

I also won't fault Clark for taking $105k guaranteed where he could get it, especially because that signifies that the Chargers think it is highly likely he could make their team.
