It makes sense for the Chiefs to move up that high to get a WR that they like. Or they may get an Edge that they like. They can give up their 2 first from this season and probably picks next season. However...it doesn't make sense from the Seahawks side. Why would you want to be pushed all way down to the end of the first round?

Especially when you own a top 10 pick with a talent rich draft? A trade back to the teens is ok if some of the top choices aren't there but I rather just keep the native pick.

It’d be JS/PC like to trade the 9th OA pick for the the promise of magic beans. However things happen, the FO will be judged on the success or failure created by the trade collateral obtained from the Wilson trade. They do need some magic though b/c recently they haven’t overwhelmed with their choices.
