Since we can't seriously talk about the playoffs, how about a brief moment to point out the uniform combination yesterday? I, for one, have been quietly hoping for this combination since I first saw them for Miami game years back. One, I think the grey pants/blue jerseys at home harken back to the Kingdome days, albeit with a blue helmet. Second, speaking of the helmet, give the pants/jersey a cool 2-tone look that really pops. Last, I think the monochromatic look, while cool for a solid 15 years, has gotten tired and overdone league wide. Throw it on for Thursday night for the occaisonal Prime Time game, but that's it.
I hope this is a sign of things to come. A new look for what most likely will be a new team, top to bottom, next year.
