Anyone think Bevell finally learned his lesson this game?

After that int, his play calling was mostly "Feed the Beast." I don't think we are gonna see any passes inside the 5 yard line.

I think so, he would have been run out of town if we did not win that game. Hope he starts calling games like the second half of last season. I said some mean things about him after the INT, not very nice of me.

What if it turns out Russell saw something in the defense and called an audible at the line to throw instead?

This is the first game I have ever said "Fire Bevell". It's just inexcusable to misuse Lynch like he has been. If that 4th Quarter, OT doesn't teach him a lesson, nothing will.

hopefully he goes home sits back and remembers we r a run first ball team

I have no problem passing the ball more, in fact I prefer we be a more pass-happy team. But when we get to the goal line, and you have been running well all game, YOU GIVE THE BALL TO BEAST. Seems like a pretty simple idea.

I hope not. I love the concept of doing numerous things at the goal line, but then I trust the ball in Wilson's hands.

Exactly. It was first down, it was a shitty throw by Wilson. I'd be willing to bet money the plan was to run on 2nd down if the play on 1st doesn't work. We were running all day. People around here are crazy.

:13: And if you are going to throw near the goal line, maybe a rollout since your QB is 5'9" and throws on the run pretty much better than anyone.
