There was a good amount of buzz that JD was going to go to ownership to get a little more payroll to bring him in. Guess it didn't work out. He would have been a tidy addition. If that was the case, that JD wanted him but couldn't get a little more payroll to get him, then that would be another disappointing check in the cheapskate column.
Yeah. I just hope we can mostly evade the injury bug this year, and that our hitters can be more productive than last year. I fear that we're like last year again, short a couple of bats.
Oh well...life in Marinerville...
