9 straight winning seasons

Today secured 9 straight winning seasons for us. Including a sb and two nfc championships in that time. It shows just how amazing Pete and Russ and JS are. I think we all agree it would be lunacy for anyone to call for their heads. I cant imagine anyone would ever do that. We are so lucky to have these guys. So many fans would kill to be a fan of a team that has had 9 straight winning seasons. I am SO glad we have Pete and Russ locked up for a while. I hope we resign them for even longer

p.s. Fire Pete, Schotty, KNJ, and trade RW for draft picks.

That's the only way the Seahawks will ever be good.

That's an excellent stat! Thank you for sharing Welshers.

I may have been in the fire Carroll camp last week, and I'm still there, but you can't argue his the long term success this franchise has had! Excellent tenure in Seattle!

To put it in perspective from 1976-1999 we also had 9 winning seasons

Even worse, from 1976 to 2004 (29 seasons), this team made the playoffs seven times and won three whole playoff games.

I remember in high school having somebody go "what have the Seahawks ever done?" and the best I could come up with was "they were in an AFC championship game once".

The last 15 years have been Seahawk magic. I'm going to miss it when it ends.

The sad part of that stat is that we had a winning record under Knox in the 80s (80 wins to 63 losses). The 70s and 90s were just that bad.

The Seahawks are the only team to have played in both the AFC and the NFC Championship games. ;)

Thank you for posting. The freak out after the Giants game was crazy.

I heard a few stats to REALLY put that in perspective for you. Buffalo has a 2 game lead on the NFC East, it would be the first time they've won the division in TWENTY FIVE YEARS.

Miami hasn't won a playoff game since the year 2000

Cleveland hasn't had a winning season since 2007

People can freak out and vent. But we've had it incredibly good the last 10 years. In the same breath as New England, GB and Pittsburgh as best run franchises.
