only 8 teams have scored 34 points and loss this year. 2 of those games are Seahawks losses. Arizona and Bills.

we will not be successful with this D and this cannot be fixed this season with our coaches and players. enjoy Russ and what he's doing but this is another wasted year due to the D.

We've basically entered the "2010's Saints" stage of our franchise progression. Russ will spend the next 5 years putting up big numbers on historically inept defenses, with the hope of maybe being on a contender at the back end of his career under a different coach/GM.

This is the worst defense in history.

No team could be 'good' with the worst defense in the history of the NFL.

Sorry have to disagree KC is giving up 19 points a game and scoring 31. We are giving up 28.4 and scoring 34. So KC has a 12 point advantage we have 5.6. That's a huge difference. They are way more complete then us. Same with GB, Pitt just to name 2. Our Achilles heal is our defense.

The best defense in the NFL almost lost to the Cowboys and there 4th string QB. Seattle has a chance to beat anyone and is just as good as anybody.

Sadly to say, but you are absolutely correct. You watch the Saints, Bucs, Ravens, and the Steelers, and you have to come to a realization that isn't what we are. Not even close when you look at other teams defenses. Enjoy Russ

It would be nice to see the full version of Wilson, who historically has been held back by Carroll's wrongheaded tactics, on a good team.

This past 2 years are the first we got to really see Wilson actually play football for 4 full quarters.

But our defense has been garbage. Last year bottom ten, this year worst ever to play football.

Wilson HAS played on great teams before. But Wilson has never been able to play 4 full quarters with a good team where he is not being held back by bad coaching decisions (ie Pete Ball).

It would be nice to see what Wilson could be with even an average defense, but full 4 quarters of offense where he is allowed to throw the ball and isn't constrained to try to run the clock out in the 1st half.

We needed 2 4th down conversions to barely beat the Vikings by 1 at home when they were playing their worst football, and they've gotten better since then. Chicago has a strong defense and that's all you really need since even Foles would throw for 300 and 3 TD's against this defense.
