This guy is done here. After looking like he was going to throw a fit after Reed gets a sack instead of him he gives up the TD. So done with him. Get his ass off the field we need brains out there not just a " dumb artillery shell."

I’d imagine his football iq is similar to his overall - one trick pony.
Not trying to defend him here but, when we made that trade, I watched a tape of him and his pre-play analysis.

He’s incredibly smart.

With that said, he’s nowhere near fast enough to cover WRs and too small to cover TEs in the middle.

He’s an OLB but doesn’t have the size to go heads up with the ends.

Blah blah blah…we need to move on.

Yeah I can see that. I’ve seen him do well calling out plays in the past. Even the giants game for two plays. But like with most stable geniuses reality sets in

I think he was brought in specifically to give our D an edge adainst playcallers like Shanny and McVay to use lots of crossing routes and complex play designs across the middle. Adams was supposed to be a fast hybrid LB/S to disrupt all short routes and runs up the gut - a defensive piece that would need to be accounted for on every play.

Unfortunately it hasn't panned out that way.

I was glad we added him to the team at the time. I also though the cost was stupid. Now? I was wrong.

Just like the draft…this shits a gamble.

I was happy too….with the steep cost, injuries, etc….its bad. Real bad…
