2018 Seahawks Depth Chart, Roster Moves, Cap Position

I wonder if anyone else knows? I'm in the same position as you and based upon the OTC.com numbers I've changed his status to signed, but that may not be accurate.

Here is a draft profile for Joshua Perry. I'd bet he was on the team's radar during that draft, and when he sprung loose they grabbed him.

To my knowledge, there is no Rasheem Green transaction posted as of yet. The hang may be in the final details or timing. (speculating the Malik experience as a possible influence). Actual rookie contracted numbers are defined by the current NFL/Union contract.

I am assuming the posted OTC numbers on Rasheem Green reflect the scheduled numbers for the 79th pick in the third round.

Nearest I can tell, excluding today, there were still as many as 20 NFL picks unsigned. Rasheem Green is one of them.

I wonder what the hangup is for Green's agent?

Interesting to note that Condotta is the only media type that has noticed this situation. Sadly not one of them has seemingly checked into the situation to give us audience the skinny.

Just a minor update note:

According to the dot com roster, Marcus Smith II has been re designated as a linebacker. His number was changed from #97 to #44.

There are currently only 5 defensive ends listed. Two of them are rookies and one of those rookies has been identified as a Leo Specialist. Seems likely that Carroll intends to explore the possibility of returning to the use of a defensive tackle at a 5 technique on run downs.

I have Smith’s number listed right as that change was made with number changes before minicamps and did’t see him @ the 258 lbs. as listed just playing OLB. You are right though and the team lists him as an OLB and the number change clearly indicates just that.. He did play some at SOLB last season. Maybe the idea of bringing both him and Mingo in this year is to create more 3-4 looks for the D and in that with both on the field with Clark, Jordan or Green create a different type of NASCAR look to replace the pressures lost from Avril and Bennett.

I had listed Jefferson as a DE as I think the team sees him as more of a 5 tech and have listed him as a DE in the past. In his case though with the addition of Green he will be on the bubble and was waived at the cutdown last season. If you look at the depth the team has at DT it is good. Hopefully on or two of them will take a step forward this year like Reed and Naz Jones.

I will move both players on the DC.

Seahawks have put Ed Dickson on non-football injury list, which likely means he was injured in a workout away from the team. Dion Jordan, Dontae Johnson and Clayton Wilson are all on PUP list.

At present with the injuries to Jordan and Clark being limited it is starting to look as if the team may be showing more 3-4 looks on D to start the season.

Reed is an exceptional athlete so him being back indicates the team is still looking at the CB depth.
