The cap does help maintain a competitive balance after all. OK seems less bulletproof since the trade.

Throwdown, what do you make of Omar Asik? He has 15 million dollar balloon coming.....is he an impact player or more

of a role playing big stiff?

The fatal flaw of the Blazers seems to be an inability to score in the paint.

Probably will have a large losing streak eventually.

I think he's fine, just doesn't want to or need to be in Houston at all anymore with Howard there.

Last year as a starter he was averaging 10pts & 11 Rebs in 30 minutes a game, this year with an average of 18 minutes a game, he's doing 4pts & 6rebs a game.

But Robin Lopez is doing 8 & 8 a game, you could be gaining 2 more points and 3 more boards a game, as I imagine Lopez would have to be part of the deal.

More than likely, I don't know advanced stats or anything but to me giving up rescources like pick/money/young guy like Lopez doesn't make it worth it in my eyes.
