QB market. Russ + Bucs or (barf) Steelers?

I see we still have the 'Pete's a horrible coach and hobbling Russ' mindset here. I'd think the last few games vindicates Pete more than Russ. A strong running game and stout defense is a recipe for success for Wilson. Hell... the 49'ers probably win last week AND in two weeks if Wilson is their...

QB market. Russ + Bucs or (barf) Steelers?

People do understand Russ can't just 'go' somewhere, right?

    DK likely to be traded?

You don't have siblings, do you.

Do you REALLY want him gone?

This is my feeling, as well. Hoping Russ takes off his blinders and realizes just how good it could be here. He ain't going anywhere with the 5 deep weapons on offense we have at his disposal.

    Y'all are crazy...

And that's half the point. Wilson doesn't seem to recognize that Rodgers, Brady, Mahomes, etc... ALL get there stats when accompanied by a strong run game. Not many QB's throw the ball all over the yard successfully without one.

    Y'all are crazy...

Not the way I'd hope it would go with Wilson, but a possibility, and if he's really that unhappy they almost have to deal him. Honestly, with a game manager QB that's buying in, I think this team can still do some damage next year. I'd hope that a game like the one Wilson just played in would...

Best offense has looked in a long time

Putting 50 points up on any team in the NFL is a big deal. Everyone wants the caveat that it was the Lions, but given how big the explosion was, I'm still impressed. I think a lot of people are underestimating the perfect storm that was in place for this season. Waldron was always going to...

    Y'all are crazy...

That's how I see it. Add Waldron hitting his stride with Metcalf, Lockett, Everett, Eskridge and a finally healthy Rashad Penny at his disposal, and they're the team we were expecting this year. Oh, and 60-70 million in cash to spend, if I'm not mistaken. That can buy some needed toys.

Do you REALLY want him gone?

No, I don't. I'm an unapologetic advocate for bringing the band back for one more run, minus Ken Norton at DC. I'll probably elaborate at some point but, for now, suffice it to say I've seen enough to believe next year could be what everyone hoped this year would be.

    Wilson Vague on his Future

My prediction for next year that will make heads here explode: Wilson - Back in 2022 Pete - Back in 2022 Schneider - Back in 2022 Waldron - Back in 2022 Norton - Seeking employment elsewhere in 2022

Tip of the cap to Tyler Lockett

That Dolphin fin toe tap in the end zone (last year? Two seasons ago? Whateva) is still one of the most impressive toe taps I've ever seen. Under appreciated league wide, for sure. Ask the avg fan of any other team, and they likely have no idea who he is.

Can we all agree that penny is.....

Penny has size and speed that you can't coach into a player without. If he manages to overcome his injury history, he has a shot at being very good. Last game was a sample, but let's see how he finishes the season. If he manages to stay healthy I'd be all for bringing him back at a decent RB2 price.

    Wilson is Average

Did you see that average spin move, roll out and hit the open 3rd stringer for a TD?

Jones vs Flowers- special mention to Neal

Cut Flowers before he gets on the plane so you're never tempted to put him in a game again. Even after getting pulled he manages to get a penalty on special teams. Reid looks more comfortable on the right, and Jones was a huge improvement over what we've had there this season. Find ways to get...

    Wilson is Average

I think the way average or worse QB's carve up the Seahawks defense is a contributing factor to this type of opinion. I'd personally love to see Wilson play the Seahawks D every week.

    Let Adams Cook

That's my defensive solution. Dude looks hesitant and lost trying to play 'scheme correct', and it's making him lose his edge. I say let him do what makes him special. Let him be a free lance wrecking ball and let the rest of the chips fall where they may. Inject a little unpredictability into...

I think Russell is gone even if Pete goes

Blowing up a team that goes to the playoffs 5 of 6 years would have been ridiculous. Sorry, but I can't agree with you on that. I'm not looking for the Seahawks to become the Jets. Been there, done that. And if THIS team rights the ship in the coming weeks, I could completely change my current...

I think Russell is gone even if Pete goes

I had the thought while watching the Chargers/Chiefs game on Sunday how much fun it must be to be a fan of the Chargers now, anticipating the promise of the future as opposed to being in Seattle, facing the dread of unfulfilled expectations. While I love Pete and Russ, if they can't get this...

    710 ESPN going downhill

Gallant became a semi-likable schmuck, but his whole 'most interactive sports talk radio show in Seattle, the country... nay.. the WORLD' schtick was stupid, given he wasn't even the most interactive sports talk radio show on his own station. On that topic, I'm assuming Clayton is still...
