    D’Andre Swift or Josh Jacobs?

Reality check. Bears got Swift. Packers got Jacobs. Which team got the better running back?

    Best center in draft…

Who would you draft? What round?

    Waldron to the Bears….

Bears have asked permission to interview him. I think he’s a good fit for Bears run-oriented offense. And if Bears draft Harrison, they will have two good WRs like the Seahawks.

    Positional value….

In general, what’s more valuable: An All Pro offensive tackle or an All Pro 3-tech defensive lineman? Or are they equal in worth?

    Micah Parsons….

They just suggested on ESPN that Parsons is as good as Lawrence Taylor. Where do they get these people?

    Rasheem Green

Bears just signed Green to a one-year contract. Why? He never did much with the Seahawks. Maybe he still has some developmental potential at only age 25. But honestly, I can’t see him ever being more than a rotational player, at best.

Bears Den...New USA Today mock draft

I just posted my speculations about this mock over on the Bears board. I expect to get some flack. Just wondering what you guys think. 4. Indianapolis Colts – QB C.J. Stroud, Ohio State After its 2022 crash and burn, time for this organization to reset under center with youth rather than...

    2023 Free Agents Chart...

This chart gives a lot of information about all the 2023 free agents. It is from a website 'fix the Bears." Seahawks need fixes in some of the same positions as the Bears (mostly OL and DL), so I thought you guys might find it useful. It is sorted by position, so just scroll down.

    Bears Den -- Week #18

Bears Den — Week #18 Holy cow! The Texans won a miracle game and gave the Bears the #1 pick. And then the Lions beat the Packers to get the Seahawks into the playoffs. Rodgers appears done. This was all my dream scenario for yesterday. Now, as predicted, the “trade down at all costs”...

    Bears Den -- Week #17

Bears Den — Week #17 WARNING: This is going to be a long rant. I need to get it out of my system. The only good thing about week #17 is that the Bears fans only have to suffer one more week of this season. The Lions tore the Bears to pieces 41-10. I will admit that I stopped watching when...

    Bears Den - Week #16

Bear Den — Week #16 As expected, the -12 degrees didn’t prevent the Bills from kicking butt against the Bears. The Bears defense just gets worse every week. With Jack Sanborn out of the middle, they just ran the ball all over the Bears. V. Jones finally did have a decent game. Better late...

    Bears Den - Week #15

Bears Den — Week #15 The Bears played the Eagles close the whole game, losing 25-20. I was surprised they covered the spread. Injuries to Jenkins, EQ, and Whitehair. I have been telling Bears fans all season that Leatherwood sucks. They finally got to see it. This was $6 million wasted...

The Bears Den -- Week #14 (bye)

Bears Den — Week #14 (Bye) Since this is Bears bye week, I thought I would post a thread that I just started over on the Bears forum. I titled it “The Great Poles Salary Cap Experiment”. I expect to get a lot of crap about it from people over there who think Poles is a genius. Anyway, since...

    Bears Den -- Week #13

Well, Rodgers still “owns” the Bears, but the Bears put up a good fight, especially considering that the whole secondary was out for this game. Rodgers had 58% competition rate for 182 yards, one TD. Hell, that would be an excellent performance even if we had Gordon, Brisker, Jackson, and...

    Bears Den -- Week #11

Bears Den — Week #11 Bears lose to Jets 31-10. Worse than that, Mooney was injured and out for the season. Maybe same with Eddie Jackson. Reiff and Borom injured during the game. Brisker and Gordon were both out for concussions. Fields is out with shoulder injury. No point even talking...

    Michigan pick play against Illini..

https://uproxx.com/sports/bret-bielema-response-no-call-pick-play-michigan-illinois-video/ Okay, here is the video of the play. You tell me. The Michigan player is OBVIOUSLY blocking the CB. This is not even a good fake at it like we see in the NFL. This was on 4th down and 3. Illinois won...

    Bears Den -- Week #10

Bears lost to Lions 31-30 by a missed extra point. Ouch!! Santos is reliable on FGs, but has missed three extra points this season. Go figure. But the pick-6 that Fields threw is what flipped the momentum. And the referees (again). For the last two weeks, the Bears and Seahawks have been...

    Bear's Den -- Week #9

Bear’s Den — Week #9 I am late this week. Sequim got hit with a snow storm, high winds, knocked out electricity to 1,000 homes for a couple days. Anyway, although the Bears lost to Miami last week 35-32, it was another good performance for Justin Fields. He broke Michael Vick’s all-time...

    Bears Den week #8

The blame for this loss belongs to the defense. But I don’t give it to the entire defense. I give it mainly to the rushing defense. Go back to the Patriots game. They had only 70 yards rushing and averaged 3.7 ypc. That forced them to pass, and our secondary contained them quite well. By...
