    Niners vs Cowboys

Does an INT run back to the 1-yard line suffice? :D

    Niners vs Cowboys

In the 3rd quarter, Vernon Davis had a drop that killed one drive, and the refs killed another one with questionable penalties. And the Cowboys chewed up 7 minutes on one drive that was aided by two horrendous illegal contact calls on 3rd & 21 and 3 & 7. The 4th quarter also saw a drive...

Why 49er fans hate Pete Carroll

LOL yeah dropping trou was embarrassing. You have to build up currency before you can do ridiculous things like that.

Why 49er fans hate Pete Carroll

LOL if this board is a microcosm of the city, Seattle must be the most pious place west of Mecca. I've been a diehard sports fan for over 20 years, and I can only think of a handful of coaches I've hated beyond superficial sports reasons (e.g. Dave Bliss, the former Baylor basketball coach he...

    10 reasons to hate: Seahawks/49ers

I never really considered it a rivalry until all of the build-up over this past off-season. The Seahawks have only been in the NFC since 2002, and the 9ers have pretty much sucked that entire time. Only Seahawk-49er memory that really stuck out was in 2004 when they ended our streak of...

Anyone hear Kaep & Harbaugh's press call to Seattle Media?

LOL it doesn't take much to set you guys off.

With the SF game on the horizon, and Harbaugh still talking

In Walt Harris's last year (2006), Stanford went 1-11. How was my statement wrong?

With the SF game on the horizon, and Harbaugh still talking

I don't think any 9er fans care about that stuff. Until his behavioral "problems" cost us in the locker room or on the field consistently, it's nothing more than pop psychology fare on message boards. And I don't understand this "quitter" notion. When has he quit in his coaching career...

This Week's Enemy Fan Forums: The San Francisco 49ers

I've seen both games numerous times. We went up against two hot QBs with really good WRs and our pass rush suffered due to Justin Smith's and Aldon Smith's injuries. Coverage was solid for the majority of the season (we were top 6 in passing yards per game and yards per pass). We need to...

This Week's Enemy Fan Forums: The San Francisco 49ers

I'm not as down on our secondary as some people are. In this day and age of wide-open offenses and rule changes, it's rare to have a secondary as solid as Seattle's. I don't think we have any liabilities in our secondary, but we don't have any studs (although Reid could develop into one).

With the SF game on the horizon, and Harbaugh still talking

Carroll had multiple 4 or 5-star QBs at USC every season. Star rankings aren't a definitive gauge of success, but they weren't short on talent. When does a coach get credit for development? I've never heard anything about Luck not liking Harbaugh. I've heard a lot of the opposite, though...

With the SF game on the horizon, and Harbaugh still talking

I understand the Harbaugh hate, but I think you've gone to great lengths to downplay his accomplishments. Harbaugh didn't have Andrew Luck his first year. Tavita Pritchard was the QB, and he beat USC in the Coliseum when Stanford was a 41-point underdog. I don't understand the Alex Smith...

With the SF game on the horizon, and Harbaugh still talking

But what shenanigans are we talking about? Punching Jim Kelly 20 years ago? Flipping over card tables during poker games with the Bears? Slapping Jim Schwartz on the back? I'm just not sure how that relates to his interaction with his players. I think coaches get in trouble when they...

With the SF game on the horizon, and Harbaugh still talking

LOL I doubt it. But anything's possible. After Pete Carroll's stints in New York and New England, people said his personality wasn't suited for the pro game, but he's doing fine in Seattle. I understand people hating Harbaugh, but all the extra stuff is overblown, IMO.

With the SF game on the horizon, and Harbaugh still talking

    1. LOL the handshake with Schwartz isn't even remotely comparable. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AtyZdxWEVZk 2. I don't think Richard Sherman's experience with Harbaugh is indicative of the majority of players he coached there. You don't take a program from 2 wins to 12 without players...

This Week's Enemy Fan Forums: The San Francisco 49ers

That's what makes Rodgers and his WRs so good. You know it's coming and you still can't stop it consistently. It's not a fluke that he throws for like 4,000 yards and 40 TDs ever year. I don't think the Packers have had a 100-yard rusher since 2010. Heck, they went 15-1 without even...

    Dethroning The Tyrants Called 49ers

LOL I'm a little surprised by the extreme 9er hate. It's not an old rivalry like 9ers-Rams, and the 9ers have sucked pretty much the entire time you guys have been in the NFC.

With the SF game on the horizon, and Harbaugh still talking

Their midfield exchange after the Super Bowl doesn't count? That wasn't just a cold handshake. The only thing that matters to me is the locker room. Do the players play hard for Harbs? Yes.
