Quasi horsecollared his own teammate..nice...
That is nothing like HC tackle. Arma round the neck, coming from the side, no throwing of the weight down to drag him down/. Standard side tackle.

I saw a story on my news feed that a Seahawk player had suffered a season ending injury & thought of this thread fearing the worst but when I read the story it was an undrafted rookie CB, Andrew Whitaker, who suffered a patellar tendon injury.

Kenny McIntosh was a 7th Rd. pick for a reason. 7th round rookies are not a lock to make the 53. He is 4th on the depth chart right now. If they keep 4 RBs, that means you lose a spot at another position. So, you would rather keep only 5 WRs and keep 4 RBs on the 53?

Far from a lock to make the 53. You clowns can laugh at my comments all you want. I shouldn't have to explain the Seahawks depth chart to you.

Ummm, Walker, Charbonnet, and Dallas are all ahead of him. They will keep 3 on the 53. I realize there are injury concerns with others as well.

As I said, we will see what happens with Kenny.
That they just keep 3 rbs is your opinion. I highly doubt they keep just 3. As a matter of fact, they kept 4 last season coming out of TC - Penny, Walker, Dallas, and Homer. If that is the case then McIntosh is certain to be in the top 53. Plus, Chris Carson was a 7th rounder and had success with the Seahawks. Seahawks have had some positive history with production out of late round or UDFA running backs.

I never said no 7th rounder ever makes the squad. I'm saying Kenny is a 7th rounder for a reason and not a lock to make the 53.

And the number of players kept at each position varies from year to year. To attempt to say they kept 4 RBs last year, so that means they will for sure keep 4 RBs this year, is quite foolish if you follow NFL rosters closely.

All I am saying is that Kenny is not a lock to make the 53 like Walker and Charbonnet are.

Not sure why that triggered a few of you?

There are different levels of sprain severity. Further, a sprain is not a tear, it is a stretch, and doesn't require surgery. Surgery is the time killer with the most minor forms of surgery typically requiring six weeks of recovery (ie. cartilage removal). I have personally seen a teammate come back from a knee sprain within three weeks. I'm talking about hobbling, barely putting weight on it, to playing relatively pain free. He hurt his knee in summer practice and never missed a play during the season.

What are you talking about? Most teams, if not all, keep 4 running backs on their 53-man roster. If you have been following the Seahawks training camp news, you would know that McIntosh has been having a very good camp and was likely to make the 53-man roster easily.

Some teams keep 4 if you include a FB in the 4. I keep RBs and FBs separate, because a lot of teams today don't even keep a FB on the roster.

Numbers kept at each position vary from year to year on rosters, and obviously all these numbers vary from team to team.

I never said McIntosh for sure won't make the 53, but you can type until your fingers are blue that he is a lock to make the 53, and it still won't be a fact.

Walker, Charbonnet, and Dallas are all ahead of McIntosh on the depth chart.

Just looking at the final 4 teams last year, the Chiefs, the Eagles, the 49ers and Bengals, all four teams had 4 RBs on their roster. The Eagles and 49ers both had 4 RBs and a fullback on their rosters. Your position that keeping 4 RBs is unusual is weird and baseless.
