Anyone follow Zags basketball? Are they fielding another good team this year? Heard BYU scored some highly touted commitments so might be a top team in the WCC.

Zags are good again. Very athletic this year. No huge names on the team and they share the ball and look to be more of a well rounded team this year. They will be in the mix again.

I was worried at PG with Smith....but they started Mario instead and he went off. Really curious to see how he will play against Bama.

Got destroyed by Michigan but then destroyed Kentucky. It's not a very big team but they're athletic. I think it's a sweet 16 team again.

I don't think they're in danger of losing any game until the sweet 16.

Another WCC title for the Zags. They'll be in the PAC12 next year.

Zags win in round of 64. Refs did their best to help Kennisaw win the game but despite the refs best effort Zags come out on top. Probably the worst reffed game I have seen in years.

With the upsets that happened yesterday (losses by NC, Wisconsin, BYU, and SMU being the most significant ones), I was concerned in the first quarter of last night's Zags game. Which was all I watched, being on the east coast. Just now getting recap/updates and glad to hear they won despite the anti-Zag refs.

Texas handled them pretty well despite a close score. Zags desperately need 3 point shooting. They have the bigs to compete but the past several years there's been no perimeter shooting.
