After 7 games, we have a few young players emerging as our foundation, building blocks for the next few years:

Defense:
Murphy - defense simply play better with him .
Mafe, Hall - a pair of nice above average edges
Woolen, Witherspoon - a team can do a lot worse than these two

We need more DT, ILB and S. Leo is great but he isn't young so not in this list.

Offense:
Cross - still need to gain more strength, but on right track
DK - not so young anymore but ...
K9 - is probably our best offense player?
AJ - can block and catch.

We need help on OL, and time to develop that QB of the future as Geno isn't getting any younger

Quite sure that I missed someone, please add to the list?

Barner needs to learn how to block at the point of attack. He has caused two TDs to be called back because of holding penalties.

Many of us on here do that :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
We give each other crap, we get in petty arguments, but overall, it's a pretty fun place to talk football.

If you want to get people riled up, it's real simple. Say something positive about DK. Or negative about Geno. Better yet, something good about.......Russ. Oh man........popcorn worthy hurt of butt.

Whatever JSN has done, his production isn't exactly building block worthy, not to my eyes anyway.
JSN has better hands, better route running, but less big play potential (based on his college stats this may be because it isn't what the Seahawks are asking him to do), and inferior physical tools (which he does more with.)
Edit to add what the tables represent:

May I assume that you opined Hawks didn't use him to max potential?

As phenomenal of a player as he is, and as much as I'd hate to see him tearing it up for someone else, I don't know that I'd consider KW3 a building block. Sadly for him, we've seen time and time and time again that paying running backs is a terrible idea, with very few exceptions in the past decade or so.

Well at least nowadays RB's are on the much much lower pay scale as opposed to a couple decades ago(damn getting old sucks) when they were near the top.

One extension, 2-3 years could be ok?
