They admit that every offseason when they refuse to sign any FA87 wins is 54% of 162. Which usually is always a couple games short of the playoffs. So yeah they basically admitted their goal is to not make the playoffs.
SAD!

It’s such a loser mentality. The goal should World Series. Nothing elseNo because sometimes their plan is to win a few more games than that so thet squeak into the playoffs, and sometimes their plan is to lose a few more games so they arent that close to making the playoffs. But it will all average out to 54% over a large sample size. See it makes perfect sense!
(This is actually what their plan is.. management/ownership is such a joke)
I mean.. the reality is... its a business and the goal is profit... period for the uppersIt’s such a loser mentality. The goal should World Series. Nothing else
But look, now they have interest in trying.

D-backs aren't trading Geno.
It's too late M's already messed up. Trading for a bat won't fix anything. They need multiple bats, and by multiple I mean half of the line up. What they did was replace .150 hitters with more .150 hitters while not signing a legit 1st and 2nd baseman. They could have survived with the current outfield but they fumbled the infield and DH positions, and by fumbled I mean completely took a shat. Tmobile is one of the biggest outfields in the league yet they are 29th in doubles. Team can't hit. Now that the pitching has taken a step back, forget about it. All this has happened while Dylan Moore continues to get playing time.
I actually believe they will. He is a free agent after the year, and they don't seem to be going anywhere. They will want to recoup some of that money lost in the Corbin Burnes signing. Same with Naylor.D-backs aren't trading Geno.
