RW has been promoting Xbox One for a while now. During the MS company meeting at the Key there was a spot where RW spoke about Xbox one from the Hawks indoor training facility (Taped). MS is local, RW is a paid Xbox One spokes person, and MS has always used local personalities for their advertising. Doesn't hurt that the Hawks are the best team in the league right now. 
Paul Allen has nothing to do with it. He hasn't been involved in anything MS for years.
