Would you trade Bobo?

He's fine as a fourth receiver, but I do think fans decently overrate what he's capable of. Like if we were to trade DK (I really hope we don't), I would want to acquire another receiver because I would not be in favor of just bumping Bobo up to a starting spot. I don't see him being productive in that role.

That being said, I doubt I'd trade him. I wouldn't want to move him for less than fourth rounder, because what's the point, and I doubt another team would offer that. I could see maybe trading him as a deal sweetener, like if we were involved in a bigger trade, I'm not going to risk a deal for a potentially higher-impact player to fall apart because the other team insisted on getting Bobo rather than the 6th rounder that was just in the deal as a throw-in.

Send Bobo and a 7th rounder for a 4th round pick and select the best kicker in the draft.

The last 2 years he went 31 for 33 and 5 for 5 on 50+ yard kicks (long of 59)...didn't miss one of his 72 extra point kicks.

Not much left at WR behind Smith-Njigba and Metcalf.

I guess you could reclaim him off waivers in September.

Lol Bobo has an H-back? I think someone just saw that he's tall and white and assumed he could be our Taysom Hill. Taysom is 6'2" 230 btw.

Yeah, trade him for a 7th that they will use to draft a receiver who cant block or catch and gets cut in July. He's cheap and has talent. Let's see what a new scheme does with him. He may prove to be better than people think.

Bobo is a guy who - if we lost him, wouldn't really make a difference to the team. But at the same time, whoever you draft with a 7th round pick is likely to be the same. So you either let him go for a 7th because you found another guy in the draft and so you reckon you're going to cut him anyway, or you find a team who is absolutely DESPERATE for bodies at the position and is willing to overpay, or trade you a player in a position where you have need.

In a Kubiak system, I think Jake Bobo gets utilized like WR Kevin Walter was under Klint's father. Big WR that can block and catch. If we move on from No E, then I see Bobo moving up or even moving to more FB/TE style of play.

And that goes out the window if they target WR/TE/FB in the draft.

(That video is also a good highlight for how Gary Kubiak and Rick Dennison used FBs in that ZBS. I will scream my fool head off the first time I see Geno roll out on a Naked Bootleg!)
