I've been complaining a lot about how Woolen's selfishness cost the team the game.

And generally I love Witherspoon and thought he played well today. But...

...there was one play in the 4th where Witherspoon had a big hit on a guy after he caught the pass on an important 3rd down play, and he started celebrating.

Why are you celebrating? Yeah, it was a big hit, but the 9ers got an important 1st down!

I know it's tough in the current sports environment where even scrubs are making millions of dollars a year, but the Seahawks coaches better find a way to coach this kind of selfishness out of the team.

F*** your nice individual plays. If the team doesn't benefit, it doesn't mean a damn thing!

This is every DB in the league. Literally everyone. It's the hardest postion to play in the league so hard to get to mad at any of them. Today JSN burnt one of the 49er DB's but the ball was slightly overthrown. Guy celebrated like he played it perfect. Just how the game is today.

I noticed the same and thought it was a bit much

You made a nice hit, but didn't do anything

Lost the play, they got the first down and the receiver wasn't slightly bothered

It wasn't like Ramsey knocking the ball away from Wilson to seal the game for Pittsburgh today

Yeah, I agree. I just don't like to see a guy celebrating on defence when the other team gets an important 1st down.

But yes, it's definitely the hardest position in football to play, especially when you have no idea from one play to the next how much contact the refs are going to allow. So yeah, I guess I should give them a bit more leeway. Just didn't like how it looked.

I know what you mean and know exactly which play you're talking about. That said, I will take it every time coming from 'Spoon. Hell, whatever it takes to keep his head on fire, I' my with it. His play is the least of our concerns.

It was Spoon, on the blocked FG drive. It was 4th & 2 and they converted with kittle’s backup

Ya not a fan of guys celebrating when your losing. That said I will take it from Spoon who plays every down like it's his last, unlike Woolen who plays every down like he looking for a blunt.
