I'm good with Zabel but I'm hoping Kelvin Banks falls to us. I think Teteroa Mcmillan would be a good pick, but many around here would seem to hate it. I think he would be a much needed fit and a good player myself.

Really don't want any of the other WR's mocked to us in the first though.
I hadn’t heard this until an hour ago but McMillan is being comped to Mike Evans. I guess I kind of see it but if he is like Mike Evan’s thats intriguing. I think he ends up going no later than the Cowboys.

He has length, good hands, good route runner, smooth, adequate speed, and some wiggle after the catch. Not sure why people seem so sour on him other than the video of him from 2 years ago saying he doesn't watch film.

Up until yesterday I thought no way it happens but I’m pretty convinced we take Milroe in the 2nd now. Schefter made 2 comments yesterday about Seattle and a QB and I think it’s Milroe that MM really likes

Not only that, but I could see Mike shaping the team much like the Ravens did/does, and who better to compare to Lamar Jackson than Milroe? Both elite "running" QBs and Lamar's passing ability was most definitely debated especially in his first few years in the league. I think they are comparable on several different levels. I'd be okay with the pick in the 2nd, if not excited!

Milroe is a lot more Jalen Hurts than Lamar Jackson. Jackson is a pretty lazy comparison, to be honest.

Agreed. He has the intangibles and character JS loves. He has the traits that MM will love. MM knows how hard it is for teams to scheme LJ and that may intrigue him, plus both have military backgrounds. The more I hear the more I like. I never disliked Milroe, just thought he was too much of a project to be taken so high but I'm on board now.

I know these are common to make predictions on the pick, but has anyone truly ever had the pick right in the last like 5-6 years?

Last year was actually pretty easy to get it right. Murphy just had to not be picked by Chicago or Atlanta, but most people had Murphy to Seattle

I go back and forth with the Seahawks going with Zabel at #18...or gambling with Milroe at that spot. Everybody is going to argue that it's too high (and they're probably right), but Pittsburgh at #21, the Rams at #26, and then a team coming back up into the first could be interested. He's been invited to the NFL green room, so it's not out of the realm of possibilities. If JS is interested (and who knows if he is or isn't), he may not want to play the value game this time.

Strongly agree with this. I don't think Milroe will ever be anywhere near as good of a passer in the NFL as Lamar.

Daniel Jeremiah's final mock has the Seahawks trading back with either NY or Cleveland to jump ahead of QB-needy Pittsburg at 21. Not a crazy idea if Sanders gets past the Saints at 9.

The both could just about do it with their 2nd and 3rd (34+65 or 33+67 = ~830 vs 900), but I'd like their 2025 and 2026 2nd rounders better.

Last season I guessed right on Murphy and Haynes, but only as the draft was happening and they were there when the Hawks were on the clock. I had Murphy to the Hawks before the draft but also admitted that he probably wouldn't be there when they picked. Then they had the crazy run on offensive players.
