So ahh if you have had a passer rating above 100 for all 4 games that is avg? Ahh so what if you are the only QB to do it, and you lead the league in passer rating? Someone how I don't think that is avg if it was every Qb would do it.

An eventual first ballot hall of fame player and people are still saying game manager?!? Jesus Christ on a bicycle! Do some of you completely ignore the 10 years of stats or all the games he’s single handily won for us over the years?? Of course had some bad games but also contributed to the fact at times he had to be the one to always make something happen so forced it. All that guy does is go out and try to win. To the guy talking about post season wins and discrediting the regular season, he was the huge factor if not the main factor we have made the post season 9 out of his 10 years. The year we didnt and went 9-7 all he did was score 34 of the 35 tds for the team while also rusher. He got killed first couple games and was hurting but never missed a start..and still would have had 10/11 wins and the playoffs minus Walsh’s misses. That’s MVP. Seriously, your gonna sit here and tell me we hit the playoffs all those years with whomever else? Maybe just maybe Matt Flynn could have game managed a SB with that defense a la other true historic game managers like Trent Dilfer and Brad Johnson, but highly doubt that even. And then what after that, nothing. That QB has done so much for this franchise only to be ridiculed as some how hes the problem. Absolutely asinine.

People getting excited for a QB Less 49ers win. The real test is this Thursday, against The Rams. I love The Seahawks/ Wilson, but if they can't get passed The Rams , their not going anywhere. In people's hearts of hearts the Rams own Seattle.

IF & only IF Seattle Wins, then I'll truly believe Wilson has what it takes this year ,because his 8-10 record against this team says otherwise.

Those spins Wilson does, is going to land smack in the middle of Aaron Donald & company

Say it with me: wins are not a QB stat

This thread is a joke. Russell Wilson is incredible. Any view to the contrary is tripping.

Wins aren't a stat? Then why is the media running around celebrating Wilson's 100th win if there not counting ?

My god, can we just enjoy a big win w/out downplaying it and/or making excuses for why they WON?
Just once???? 16-4 vs. the Niners, only the 2nd QB in history to win 100 games in his first 10 seasons (and we are only 4 games in this season) and people still can't just enjoy a win :?

I hear ya, but that's what we do. It's Monday morning, time for MMQB's.

Many of the posters are exactly right. The Niners were fighting with one hand tied behind their backs, having to go with a rookie QB in his first sustained play as a pro and having to use their punter as their place kicker. It was not an MVP performance by Russell, but he did what it takes to win the game. We were 4-4 in the red zone and didn't turn the ball over. Do that every game and you'll win more games than you'll lose.

The game didn't turn our season around, but it keeps us in the mix.

Hawks had a backup RT, and Lockett had no business playing yesterday.
Excuses don't win games. They have won 16 of the last 20 against the Niners. Ownage.
Started out looking brutal, turned it around. That's a good thing.
I will never understand how people are obsessed with downplaying a WIN. Like it has to look a certain way.

Why can't posters point out blemishes on a Seahawks message board on a Monday morning after a game?

Why does this motivate you to constantly respond every Monday? Why does it bother you so much?

This is precisely what a message board is for. If you want to shake pom poms after every game, join the dance squad. Nothing will every change without recognizing those blemishes. (Although Pete will probably never change. I hate how he keeps things close all the time) And I realize we as fans can never dictate change, but we can talk about them happening while envisioning our team better for it.

It all comes down to this this Thursday. The past decade means nothing.

Meh......

Russ will never be any good in some people's eyes because he doesn't look or play the position the way the usual suspects (Rodgers, Brady, etc., etc.) do. It's been said a thousand times--he doesn't play in a system that those other quarterbacks play in. Yet he still manages to do amazingly well. Like it or not, it's Pete Carroll's team and regardless of any new offensive coordinator, he will still have a big hand in how this offense operates.

Russ, unfortunately, will never really get his due until he lights it up like those other quarterbacks--that seems to be the only time the media pays any attention to him (contract issues and tantrums don't count). Playing in Seattle of course doesn't help--no offense meant to Seattle.

It is what it is at this point in his career.

Of course posters can point out blemishes on a Monday morning, but just remind yourself of the thread title. This isn't a blemish thread. This is a 'hot take' thread based on a personal agenda.

It doesn't bother me, it cracks me up. Big difference.
And I have literally been complaining, a lot, about how the team played the previous 2 games. But yeah, pom poms.
Whatever you say :irishdrinkers:

It's obvious to any sane person that RW is an above-average QB. If we want dive deeper, it's obvious to say he's the best QB this franchise has every had.

If anybody says otherwise, they simply do not understand football.

My statement may have been in the wrong thread, but you could insert it in any of 200+ threads and it would be valid.

Rus is only good when he rolls out of the pocket. He's too damn short to see over 6'5" linemen. We should have traded him for Stafford.

Russell wilson has already proven he can make any shot, including short, even this season.

yall have to find another argument.

But his choice more often then not is not too and look for the Hero ball downfield, he can call any play now on the fly and chooses to say go deep and i will throw it, you just have to outrun the over under or double coverage.

Or a sideline route with two defenders or more, one being the sideline and the cover back and most times a couple.

And yet again as has been shown with charts and facts he has thrown far more short passes than long. How's Q doing?
My god. The Q shit is old. I guess anyone who has a diff opinion then yourself is a Q follower. And I bet all the people who refuse the vac is a trumper? Lol.
