Will DK or Lockett get traded?

I wouldn't say we are loaded exactly. JSN can be a good #2, and we have an aging Tyler Lockett who might not even be here next season. Other than that you are left with some question marks. That being said, it's easier to win in this league with a good o line and average receivers than it is to win with a poor o line and good receivers. That's why I'm not opposed to a DK trade if the price is right.
We have Bobo too

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see us trade Metcalf. He's going to want an extension next season, perhaps a market setting deal or he'll hold out. If we're not prepared to pay that kind of money, then it makes sense to trade him now.

I'd settle for a low first round pick and a starting quality player, preferably an offensive lineman, or a first and a third. There's already been a couple of WR trades, so the market may be dwindling. Jerry Jones has come under fire recently for sitting on his hands during the offseason, so maybe he's ripe for a deal. He claims that they're not going to be active before the trade deadline, but that could be just a smoke screen to hide his intent.

The Vikings and undefeated, have a ton of cap space, and might want to pair Metcalf with Justin Jefferson.

To those old and tired eyes of toffee, Lockett is still a better WR than DK, despite not being blessed with those superman attributes. That said, I have been advocating to trade Lockett for the past 3 years, I was and still is of the opinion that we have too many holes on our roster to entertain the luxury of a sentimental player.

I have been both happy with the opportunity to see more of Lockett on our team, and sad that Lockett's trade value declined year after year.

I just don't think it's as easy as the fans think it is to trade someone.
That's true. It's a high stakes poker game. If your trading partner senses that you're desperate, they're going to hold out for a better deal.

And it's a matter of supply and demand, Econ 101. If there aren't many WR's out there, it's going to drive up the price, which is one of the things I'm concerned about with Metcalf, that we've already had two high profile trades involving wide receivers and have taken two potential trading partners off the market.

Keep an eye on what happens with the Niners. If they beat the Chiefs and Cowboys and we lose to the Falcons and Bills, we might throw in the towel on the season and dump Metcalf. If we win the next two, then it would be foolish to trade away an All Pro in the middle of a playoff drive even if we don't intend to resign him next season.

Daniel Jeremiah said two third with one potentially turning into a second is about the max they would get for DK. Just don’t see that happening.

Tyler to the Chiefs makes a ton of sense. Him running that scramble drill with Pat would be very solid.

What would be the only thing I see happening when it comes to trading Locket. Considering the disaster and meme potential of Toney last year, Locket is reliable and pretty much catches everything that comes his way. Ultimate safety blanket as I said before.

You’re dreaming if you think we’ll get a first for DK. Look what the Raiders got for Adams. Maybe a player and a late draft pick. I’d take a second rounder and get back even.

LOL. Between Tyler's ability to draw PI flags and Mahomes' ability to draw roughing flags, that team would never lose again.

The AJ Brown trade is the benchmark for DK, and if someone's willing to give you a first and a third you probably do it. Too much money going to a receiver in his next deal with a non-existent offensive line and run game.

There’s a pattern of trading star WRs. Raiders traded WR Adams to Jets. Browns just traded WR Cooper to Bills. Out of the two of DK/Lockett, who’s likely to get traded?
The one with the most value...send DK to the Boys. He will fit in perfectly.

In conclusion, trade Geno, sign Wilson once the Steelers cut him, or reach out to the Steelers for a trade for Wilson. Happy days are here again?

I'd rather have Wilson, than Geno, but trade Geno and get back a defensive up and coming stud, or good picks

dude what? Geno is on a different level than Wilson. Wilson is at the very end of his career and looks awful.
