Why would RW choose Broncos?

If you think the pass rush pressure was bad in Seattle? The Broncos were dead last in pressure percentage allowed last year.

Isn't the story leading us to believe RW was upset about his number of sacks?

And with the trade they don't even have the means to improve.

This could get real ugly, he's going to get destroyed.

Because the other options were Philly and a team owned by Dan Snyder.

:179419: That is rough isn't it? Good point.

Dude must really be delusional if he think he is a fully functional QB. He is definitely not a quick out pocket passer.

You'd have to think Hackett coming in with his offense is designed to address the deficiencies they had under Shurmur and Fangio.

The real issue I'm interested in is whether Wilson adjusts to attack the middle of the field, as opposed to what we routinely saw in the last 2 years where he would not throw to the open guys across the middle.

Opportunity to take advantage of his passing skills? Wait…that’s the reason he left the Seahawks.

Jokes aside, he believes he can win in Denver which is weird to me. He would’ve been the best QB in the NCF East. I think wins would’ve been easier to come by…

Go listen to the Greg Olsen interview with Cowherd from a few days ago.

Olsen observed that Russ (and the entire offense) were treated like the JV team.

Wilson isn't as good as people make him out to be and he's the anti-christ when it comes to being a pocket passer and attacking the middle of the field. He's a backyard QB with no special talent other than the rainbow passes. Like you said, dude is delusional if he thinks he is a fully functional QB. He's not even close to that, not even a little bit. None of this changes in Denver and people won't accept that. Wilson will have his moments and people will say that Seattle got reamed in this trade, but it won't matter to me unless Wilson delivers a few SB's to Denver which won't happen. I'm going as far as saying Denver won't even make the playoffs this year.

Sour grapes from Olsen. At the end of that season he also said he had "Buyers Remorse," wishing he would have chosen the Buffalo Bills.

Olsen is saying what Cowherd wants to put out there. That's why he gave him a microphone. I put zero credence in anything he says.

DK thought the exact same thing his first year and then saw the truth.

Take a look at the Broncos roster and you'll see that due to so many losing seasons in a row they now have starters on cheap rookie contracts all over the place. Risner, Meinerz, Cushenberry, Bolles, and Muti are all young OL that posters here were campaigning for. They replaced Munchak with the 49ers assistant OL coach (Barry) to see if they can get more out of the unit.

There's a good chance that it doesn't work out, but they are way further through a rebuild than the Hawks are and so if you are just looking at short term wins it's a good move for Russ.

Thanks for the chuckle. I'll save this thread and look at it again when Russ puts on his gold jacket, LOL

Let me help you
1. their oline is ranked higher than ours https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-final-2021-offensive-line-rankings
2. they have a top 3 defense in both points and yards
3. they have an offensive-minded HC
4. they have 3 really really good young wrs
5. They are better than the commanders, and given PC wanted to trade Wilson a few years ago before all the stuff of the last 2 years why stay
6. They have a couple of great backs.

As to means to improve they have 7 picks this year, they also still have about 30 mil in cap space and not many wholes to fill, and if they extend Wilson and change the money they can free up another 10-15 mil

Seems you needed to do more homework.

LOL if only the facts supported this false narrative. AS I showed he attacked the middle of the field at the same % as Mahomes, Rodgers, and others. The problem is I also showed we don't run many routes to the middle either. PCs book states clearly he does not like to throw to the middle of the field.

I know some of you need these various narratives, but the facts don't support them. but believe what you want.

THIS^^^^^ add to it the laughing out of a meeting, the refusal to address the oline etc etc. The looking to trade him 3-4 years ago

Wow the only delusional person is you, no facts or stats support a darn thing you just said. as to him needing multiple SB for it to matter to you. Too bad no, one cares what you need. He gets them in the playoffs this year and a winning record huge jump. that is called a WIN. AS to you thinking they will not make the playoffs okay that's your opinion. they have a better shot than we do.

There were plenty of plays where Russ would not throw it to guys in the middle of the field and instead went deep. This isn't a narrative, it's the truth. The Athletic just had an in depth article about it.....

Not that I care much anymore but it's undeniable that his play the last couple of years was not at the level to justify 50 M a year. And I'm a big RW fan

Also interesting how some want to ignore when someone says something they don't like. Forge the fact that what Olsen said has been echoed by many experts and other teams we faced. Recall just last year several CB on other teams said they knew what was coming on 80% of the plays as they are so simple. But hey keep your fingers in your ears and say na na na all you want.
