Why so few catches for Rice?

Is the dude still banged up? Rice has like 5 catches in the last 4 games. Not going to work against Atlanta.

Not just few catches - few targets. I think they have been using him more as a coverage sponge.

Rice had one of the biggest catches of the day tip toeing the sidelines yesterday to keep a drive alive.

Wilson also missed seeing him on a potential TD route later in the game, so no there's nothing wrong with Rice. My guess is any team we play is going to try and take Rice away first and foremost with our receiving corp.

Exactly! I don't know why so much is made of 1,000 yard recievers and 100 catch seasons. All that means is that your offense is one dimensional. We dynamic baby!

I commented to my dad during the game that if Wilson turned the opposite direction, he sees Rice.

I'm not slighting Wilson at all , just accounting for what I thought would have been a completion for Rice

I do worry that he will get very frustrated with not being more involved. I think eventually, most "star" WRs will let a lack of targets get to them, even if the team is winning. Hope that does not happen with Rice.
