Anyone know why that is?
ThisThey've been doing this the past few years - trying to schedule games that have codependent playoff implications simultaneously.
Last year they did a great job with the sole exception, of course, of the Lions/Packers game. Lions knew they had been eliminated by the earlier Seahawks victory. They were no longer playing for their own playoff spot but to eliminate the Packers and let the Seahawks take the Packers' spot.
