Why don't we blitz more?

I don't know about anyone else but I would love to see us blitz more especially with these slow QBs we are facing. Schaub, Fitzpatrick, and now Palmer have trouble escaping pressure and it may cause even more havoc if we send some extra pressure. Sort of sick watching the rookie WR from the Colts and second year WR from the Titans get so many easy looks and catches. Thoughts?

Isn't that why we have the LOB? Not sure what others think but our pass rush has not looked stellar this year and would benefit from sending some extra pressure. You say do what works, well the pass rush alone ain't working.

Blitz wrong once, Chris Johnson get's behind the front 7, and that's all she wrote. There's games you blitz, games you don't. Today you make Fitzpatrick beat ya and keep CJ in front of ya.

We do blitz, but it always seems to be off the edge. I'd like to see some blitzes straight up the middle.

Because it hurts the other teams feelings when we do. :sarcasm_off: We need to blitz more if we are not getting pressure, but you cannot blitz on every play. You also cannot give a QB 8 minutes to throw the ball. Playing soft zones the whole game isn't the answer either.

Irvin was probably the DE on the play. Don't remember the Wright sack so let's say its 1 sack after six games.

LOB is all about the outside. If you blitz, it opens up the middle.

Passes to TE in the middle is one of the biggest complaints you hear from fans.
