In all seriousness, as fans we want (and seem to have a need) to hear them speak. But I don't mind Beast (or any of them) not speaking much if that's what he chooses. Let his shoulder pads do the talking. I'm okay with one less athlete offering up the same old BS cliches week after week. Kinda adds to his persona and a little mystery if you ask me... or then again maybe he just doesn't have anything to say.
This. Alan Page the Viking DE was the same. It's no big deal especially since we have Sherman who loves the camera it kind of balances out if you take that into account.

Ya see, it's kinda like this message board: With less than 400 posts since March of 2007 (although I've been around since earliest begginings of this board) some of us can relate to the Beast and those that don't talk much, as opposed to the Richard Sherman types that have 10,000+ posts since 2012. :D

Other than the Beastmode run, I remember a time when he did sideline reports.

The camera wasn't working or something, and he was going "hello !" and tapping on the lens...then opening his mouth like he was going to swallow the camera. He came off as real likeable and a bit goofy, but he was on point in the interview and seemed better than a lot of players I've seen.

I haven't seen much from him since then. I won't even speculate why, but it seems odd. He didn't seem camera shy before, and I think it's just a schtick what he does on the RRR.

I think he has had to hear too much bs because of the interviews he has done. He is a character, a bit of a strange personality and maybe he does not like the way it looks on camera.

Marshawn is my favorite player.

I just don't think he cares for BS. There's been a quality amount of interviews and interactions of him out there (Beast Mode Play breakdown, Sports Science, a couple videos of him have been posted in this thread) and in all them, he's the same guy, speakin' the same lingo he always does.

But interviews for football? Those things were everyone says "We've been practicing real hard and just do your job, don't quit, blah blah blah"
He would either have to bottle up his personality and spit out cliches, or be himself and have the media pick apart what he says.

Beast just doesn't have time for that.
