"Everybody" is probably a little bit of an exaggeration.
True but I was trying for the dramatic angle.:)

The real point is that I think too much overreaction is happening by too many especially when if actually needed we could play OUR version of Crabtree and tilt the field in a game that counts for both San Francisco and Seattle not just San Francisco.

Our version of Crabtree? R You calling Percy slow? :) If Crabtree tilts the feild, Percy stands it on end.

And he says this while pulling up a lawnchair and a bag of popcorn. I meant no trouble it was a personal observation not an indictment.

No, Crabtree isn't on Percy's level but FOR San Francisco he does tilt the field at least slightly. The point being if San Francisco reaches the divisional round it will be against us and Percy will be playing and everyone will understand what tilt the field means after Harvin and Wilson are in a game, on the same side with no limits because it will be the playoffs.

Or a demotion, LOL! Crabtree's tilt barely qualifies as blip on the LOB's RADAR while Russell and Percy are a plate-shifting, seismographic event.

I've seen very little panic among the fan base after last week's close, competitive loss. Not sure where you are seeing it.

Why does everyone keep posting these silly threads calling other fans out. The game was like 3 days ago, and I have seen no one up in arms in these forums over the last few days.

I think in the grand scheme of things a loss here could be a good thing.Clinching things up this early in the season can create some complacency which can be hard to turn it around when things really matter. Now if we lose next week in NY I would start to get a little concerned.....but all we need 2 more victories out of 3 games, last 2 being at home.

I can't speak for everyone else, but "top 5 and desperate" teams are the only teams you see in the playoffs, so I was kind of hoping Seattle could prove that they can put those games away. And they couldn't. Maybe we just had to get one out of our system, who knows. I just know I saw it as a moral defeat. If anyone can put the pieces back together though, it's Wilson and Co. Sunday can't come fast enough to put this one behind me.

I don't.

Ergo, the entire premise of the original post is null and void.

Nothing to see here.

I think Mike Rob is getting cut.

Won't happen. Lynch would quit, Skittles consumption would drop, the Mars candy company's profits would die, massive layoffs would ensue and result in a second Great Recession, the company would fold and there'd be a massive candy shortage that would result in the cancellation of Halloween. Lacking that outlet for costumed debauchery and sugar indulgence, combined with the stress of a failed economy, the American populace would become so tightly wound they'd snap and there would be massive rioting, ultimately resulting in a quasi-anarchist state...oh and we'd miss him too much

I haven't seen anyone say the sky is falling. Hawks didn't need this game, and this was SFs superbowl this year, and we still lost by only two on the road. Im actually encouraged if anything. SF is a decent team, and they needed this win much more than us. IMO

C'mon man.

Sensationalist thread title...on a forum that loves overreactions... I guess the fact that anyone thought that was a serious comment is testament to the strange things that can be found here from time to time. :D
