I mean so we lose a game on the road by 2 points to a team that is top 5 and desperate. While completely messing up on offense and not playing Harvin who would have erased our field position issues without even trying hard because we're being insanely conservative with him because we can. If this were an actual playoff game or even a game that mattered he would have played.

Guys like Sando who know football say that straight up. So relax already!

I don't think everyone feels that way. I know for sure that I don't, so therefore the "everyone" qualifier in your title is false. Kidding aside, it's what people do, you'll never be able to change it so do what I do, ignore those types of posts.

Because everybody spent time slamming Vegas for making SF favorites with 3 pts.

Technically they were correct but after saying we were going to crush 49ers they need to justify their reasoning pre-game

"Everybody" is probably a little bit of an exaggeration.
True but I was trying for the dramatic angle.:)

The real point is that I think too much overreaction is happening by too many especially when if actually needed we could play OUR version of Crabtree and tilt the field in a game that counts for both San Francisco and Seattle not just San Francisco.

I'm not sensing the urgency from other fans as you have. Rather, most know the Hawks beat themselves.

Harvin has nothing to do with the past game, and this season. Tired of hearing the what if's.

It's not a what if though in as much that most discussion about sports is what if, especially the NFL. But yes the Seahawks did beat themselves just like last year.

And by the way, the game absolutely mattered.

1. It was a game against a division rival.

2. The Hawks could have clinched the division.

3. It would have been a statement win to beat the 9ers for the first time in years in their house. Let alone we would have won in the Stick for the last time. Instead, like I said, the Hawks beat themselves in the Stick for the last time.

This place is more tame than I had anticipated it would be after the loss. *shrug*

Seriously. The meltdown after bad Percy Harvin news was far worse.

Because some people take regular season games too seriously. 49erswebzone is celebrating like they just won the Super Bowl.

Can you blame them? (Given like Tampa Bay it was and the reason we better get serious about the Giants and Rams). Arizona is a given since they're fully in the wildcard hunt until we abuse them because that's the division clinching game most likely unless Tampa Bay pulls the upset.

People are emotional, it's a normal human reaction from fans that are passionate about their team. They had expectations to win this game and a lot of reactions have to be taken with a grain of salt. People are mostly better off if they let their emotions cool down before they start posting but it's human nature to vent.

The best thing is to ignore it, and rather than to comment on the shortcomings of others, focus on the team. You certainly aren't going to change anything, people will always do what they have always done. :snack:
