Rewatch the Carolina game and count the number of times he either mentions Rivera or Newton with gushing praise. It was like a broken record. No such praise for the Seahawks. Don't get me wrong he's better than Collinsworth or Mike Mayock. Just no pleasing some people I know. But I gotta have standards! :3-1:

Other than Gus Johnson, pretty much every pro-sports announcer anywhere is the same- a Communications major with voice talent. I rate Chris Myers the same as almost every other play by play guy, if only because there is so little that separates most of them.

And 80's beard is legend. Even if he was a terrible analyst, he'd be my favorite for the beard and Pete Carroll familiarity alone. But he's actually an AWESOME in game analyst. He makes better observations in real time than I can make after watching a DVR 11 times.

Tim Ryan is the perfect commentator for Seahawks games. Like the Seahawks, he's completely awesome, but like the Seahawks, most people are slow in realizing it.
