I feel like DK runs that route wrong repeatedly letting the defender undercut him. And he doesn't come back to the ball well ever.

It's definitely partially on DK, but it was an ill-advised throw regardless.

DK shouldn't be running those routes. He has a tendency to fumble, remember?
He should be our homerun hitter or the guy that takes the top off the defense. He doesn't have the hands to go over the middle and shouldn't be asked to.

curious, if the route had DK going down field instead of curl type route, would it be pretty hard to come back to the ball? Especially with what was to me a like a really shitty pass.

I think Geno expected DK to be flatter rather than deepening the route. That's what the throw indicates - both the placement of it and the fact that he threw it regardless
